AB	Maar ontwijk profaan, ijdel gepraat. Want zij zullen steeds meer in goddeloosheid toenemen.

ASV	But shun profane babblings: for they will proceed further in ungodliness,

Sch	Der unheiligen Schwätzereien aber entschlage dich; denn sie fördern nur noch mehr die Gottlosigkeit,
Web	But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase to more ungodliness.
Weym	But from irreligious and frivolous talk hold aloof, for those who indulge in it will proceed from bad to worse in impiety,
